This industry has been enlightening everyday and such fun! The world is a large place and there are endless possibilities....if I haven't sent anyone there, I am happy to research it for you - that's part of the fun!
Being a planner and a detail-oriented person myself definitely makes this career as a travel agent a perfect fit. Rest assured, every detail (if you want it that way) will be taken care of!
For most and especially for me, travel is done to enrich the soul & to enjoy time with loved ones. This makes it very important to me and to how I take care of my clients. I like to ask a lot of questions to start off - the better I know you, your personality, and your needs/wants the more likely we are to find the perfect destination for you.
I always answer an email, return a phone call and give you an honest answer....
Sending you off happy as a clam to a picture-perfect destination is what I strive for...
Shari has a passion for travel. She always knew someday she wanted to be a travel agent. Her dad loved seeing new places and learning about the world, and so does she. "I have the best job in the world! I have the honor of assisting others in planning their vacations, and helping them make extraordinary memories. The world is an amazing place with so many sights to see, and I get to talk about them all day long with others who love to travel too" she states. She specializes in planning vacation details from beginning to end, finding exotic and unique tours for those looking for out of the ordinary experiences. Here are some travel tips for her travlelers: 1. Use 1st Class Travel, or a travel professional for your vacation planning. 2. Plan ahead if possible, anticipating the trip is half the fun! 3. Cross-pack with others traveling with you. Wearing the same clothes for days is not idea in case your luggage is delayed. 4. Keep things you can't travel without (or live without) in your carry-on bags, in both directions. On the way home, if your bags don't make it back with you, or you get stranded, you may need your medication and it's nice to have your cell phone charger with you too! "I am blessed to work with an amazing team, who I consider family, and to have the privelege of working to help others plan their vacations. I love helping clients make life-long memories!" states Shari about her chosen career. Fun Facts about her: Her all-time favorite trip with her entire extended family is going to the beach and hanging out; Her favorite international destination is Italy - it's so beautiful and filled with history; Her favorite US destination is Alaska - the inside passage and the majesty of Denali; She loves Cancun for a quick getaway!; Bucketlist includes: New Zealand, Australia, Egypt, Machu Picchu, and Ireland. Shari has owned the business for since 1996 and looks forward to 20 more!
